Piano Recital

We have THE BEST piano teacher ever! She is actually in our ward and one of the sweetest, kindest ladies you have ever met! My girls LOVE going to piano (they haven't ever really complained once in almost 3 years) and she makes them like playing as well. One of my favorite things as a parent that she does, is she does theory with them at the lesson - hellooooo - love that! That was the part of piano that I hated the most, and then hated even more, when I had to help Kendalyn with it!
My parents actually drove down from Idaho just to see them (so nice) and they picked up my cute grandma on the way! They drove right back home after the recital, but it was fun to have them there! Spence's mom was able to be there as well!

Grady Turns 6!!

I decided I better hurry up and get this posted before he actually turns 7 in a month - HAHA!!! We didn't do a party last year (the BEST) and he decided he wanted to take the whole family and Cindy to Chuck-e-Cheese for some fun (not food)! He LOVED every minute of it! We just let him go for it and I basically played Ski Ball (my VERY favorite game) for over an hour! After, we met Spencer's parents and had some In-n-Out! Grady loved it. Such a CUTE boy!!

Spring Break Staycation!

We decided to stay close for Spring Break - a bit boring in my book, but we ended up having fun! We went skiing, swimming, ice skating with cousins, hiking, and made s'mores around our fire pit - fun stuff!!

An Idaho Easter

We of course had to go to Idaho for Easter as it was our last one there! We were lucky enough to have BEAUTIFUL weather for the weekend and the kids had a blast playing together outside. We colored a TON of eggs one afternoon and we ate a lot too.  Heidi was so nice and filled all of the eggs for the hunt. The dads hid the eggs and the kids went to town on it. Heidi had them go in groups and they had to get certain colors at certain times, so it made it very interesting. They got little prizes when they came back with the right color and right amount - so fun! We had to celebrate Grady boy's birthday as well, so everyone could sing to him - he loved it! We also had to have Chiz's of course for one of our meals! It is one of Spencer's favorites and of course we all love it, so that was perfect! Looking back at these pictures makes me a little sad to think we won't be at that house again, but it also gives us great memories....

This was SO funny! Cindy laughs at how little I eat - which really isn't true, I just prefer candy over food - so she made me this little place setting - funny Cindy Sue!!
