Hawaii - part 2 (FINALLY)!!!

So, our camera battery died on our way to hike Diamond Head, so we used our video camera, which was great, but for some reason it took us forever to download the photos.  So here are the pics from the hike, ( which is really fun and the view is AMAZING!!) and also Pearl Harbor which I LOVE!  The kids, not so much, but I just got chills watching the movie they show about the attack.  We went years ago, but it has all been remodeled and looks so great.  We also went to the temple on our last day and drive around the island and ran into our old neighbors, the Bernings - so random!!!  Of course, we didn't think to get a picture with them - and I'm so sad, but at least they were able to take one of all of us together!!

Cindy did cute buns in Kendalyn and Adri's hair all week - had to get a pic!

Hawaii with Uncle Brenty and AUNT Cindy!!

In March, we were able to go to Hawaii with our kids and Brent and Cindy - it was SO much fun!!  Seriously, the best trip ever!!  We hung out eating muddy buddies (alot), all of Cindy's yummy Nutty Guys snacks (hello chocolate gummy bears), some Caramel Delight for uncle Brent and well, pretty much everything else.  I gained 5 pounds - WHAT!?  It was all worth it.  I think the kids would have been happy in Phoenix as long as Cind and Brent were there, but we were much happier enjoying the BEAUTIFUL island.  Enjoy the pics which are completely out of order, dang blogger....

Adri Madri....Turns 8

Cute little Adri (Bongos) turned 8 in January and we were able to spend her birthday up in Idaho.  Her Aunt Heidi made her the CUTEST cake and I think it may have been almost her favorite present - it was a close second after the coveted Nintendo DS3D - she's really loving that!!  She was able to go to lunch and then go shopping with Grandma and Grandpa T. and her cousin Cambelle.  We had a party that night to celebrate.

Adri was also able to be Baptized this month and it was such a great day.  My parents, Troy and Heidi and their kids, my Grandma, Spence's mom (his dad had some church obligations he had to be at), Rebecca and Stephen and their kids, and Liz and James and their kids, and Spence's Grandma were all able to be with us that day.  I SO wished I would have got a picture with everyone, but it just seemed way too hard - so at least I am writing about who was there:)  We also had a few friends and neighbors there.  Thanks to EVERYONE who came, we loved seeing you!  My dad gave a great talk and Kendalyn and I were able to sing a duet and that was SO much fun.  I love having a little singing buddy now!  My cute neighbor Jiselle also came over and did Adri's hair - she is AMAZING at hair and well, I am NOT:)  I did't get a pic of the back (again, I am a BAD picture person), but it looked SO great!!

The Baptism was at 1:00pm, so we just did dessert after at our house.  Adri wanted strawberry shortcake and lemonaid pie - her two favorites, so that's what we had.

It was so great to see her all grown up and excited to be Baptized!!  I LOVE my sweet Adri.  She has SO much energy, is always dancing around and doing cartwheels and is super giggly lately. She has been taking piano lessons this year, has had tennis lessons, and also tumbling (hence the cartwheels:)  She has some really great friends and is doing really well at school (when she isn't talking too much:).  Spence calls her a "mini Jules" which is true because she is crazy just like I was, but she looks NOTHING like me.  We have SO many nick names for her - hence the title of this post.  We LOVE you Adri girl.  Happy 8th!!!

Piano Recital

We have THE BEST piano teacher ever! She is actually in our ward and one of the sweetest, kindest ladies you have ever met! My girls LOVE go...
