The LAST Thanksgiving...

At least in Idaho at the Thurgood home! We had just learned a few weeks before Thanksgiving that my parents had been called as mission presidents. All they knew was that it was spanish speaking but had no idea where they were going. They decided to wait and tell the kids on Thanksgiving - and it was SO hard to keep it a secret - for ALL of us:) Also, it was my mom's birthday on Thanksgiving, as it is every few years. Troy told us the night before, that he was going to bring 2 extra kids from the college that weren't able to go home. We all thought that was fine and we set a couple of extra places the next afternoon. Well, not 1 hour before we were supposed to eat, Chad and Libia show up!! They decided to surprise mom on her birthday and drive up from AZ. Troy kept it a secret from everyone - had us all fooled! It was such a great day and so fun to be with everyone! We went on a walk after lunch to our old house on the other side of town - so many memories and we all had a great time! They told the kids that night and it was quite emotional for all of us, but especially my parents - I know it is such a sacrifice for them to be away from those grandkids that they LOVE!! We also celebrated Kendalyn's birthday as hers was in a few days! It makes me teary to even look at these photos because their house is now sold and they are REALLY far away:(

Peter Pan the Musical

Last fall, Kendalyn was in Peter Pan the Muscial, that Farmington city put on. She was little Wendy and an Indian. They did a great job and she had a BLAST! She made a really great friend and has decided to do it again this year...

1st Snowman (of LAST year:)

Had to document it at least:) I think it may have been the only one we built even thought we had a ton of snow in the valley. They did build a fort, but I don't have a pic of that!

Oldies but Goodies...

Okayyyyy,,,so I haven't blogged in quite awhile - SOOOO behind. These pics are from last October - yep, told you:) We did a hike during fall break with cousins and had lots of fun before and during Halloween ( my most UN - favorite, weird Holiday:).

My LEETLE Soccer Stars..

Adri and Grady played fall soccer this year and LOVED it!!  Adri was able to be on a team with her cousin Ann and have her uncle James coach her - so fun!  Grady was also on a team with his friend James and had a blast!  Adri ended up being on two fall teams ( a little mistake on my part) and Spence was another one of her coaches.  She only had to play fall this way, but it ended up being a little crazy for us - at least she liked it.  She was the only girl on Spence's team and on her other team was on an all-girl team - we had quite different games going on:)
