I had Spence take a picture of this "oh so tiny" dishwasher one night when the camera was out and we were taking pics of the girls in the jacuzzi tub - yes, I said jacuzzi tub - this is no ordinary basement:)
I LOVE having this dishwasher! It is just as tall as a regular one, but about half as skinny - we have to run it everyday for sure. Some of you may not know that this is our SECOND time living in the basement (thanks Lynn and Ann) and it has been remodeled since the first time around and is really, really nice. We didn't have a dishwasher before and I had come from having one at a previous apartment, so I am LOVING this great little addition. Just thought I'd share....

Summer, Summer, Summertime.. (Thanks Will Smith)
So, we are now WAY into summer and what a weird and great summer it has been! Weird, because we no longer live in a house, we live in a basement - very nice, but FREEZING because it is after all, a basement, and our kids have no friends and we really have no ward (not that this Farmington ward hasn't been great though:) Great, because we have done a ton of fun stuff and I haven't minded the no house, no friends, no ward thing too much at all.
We stared off with a fun Thurgood reunion at the end of June and my whole family was there. We went to Mesa Falls one day and basically just hung out the rest of the time. The kiddos had a blast being together, and even if all Brent did was work, it was still fun to see him:) Like he reads this anyway....
The 4th of July was great with the annual Kaysville parade, the Summerhays family bbq, and the Kaysville fireworks. I love fireworks put to music - it is SO much better!
Spencer's parents finally got home the next week from being mission pres. in Florida and it was SO fun to see them again and have them be home. We got to go pick them up at the airport and the kids were so excited - they loved it. We came home to their house FULL of Summerhays cousins with signs and everyone waving and jumping - cute!!
And just this last weekend, we went up to St. Anthony, ID for the 24th of July parade and also to see the Blue Angels show - it was all a lot of fun. I think all of Idaho might have been at the air show though... My cute sister Cindy also came up and it was so good to see her and her cuteness!
Anyhoo - that's been our summer so far and I am hoping for some fun-filled (only) 31/2 weeks to come!!

Things That Happened In the LAST FEW MONTHS - just a wee bit behind....
I really haven't forgotten about blogging, I've just forgotten to sit down and actually post rather than read other blogs! Just a few things that have happened since March or so...and I placed them wrong so we are starting with June...
Kendalyn's Piano Recital - they overbooked the recital hall and we were in this tiny, hot room, but she did great!!
Riding with Mike (Uncle Brent's BFF and we love him too) in the fancy Convertible...
The beloved annual LAGOON day - they loved it and had a blast!
Adri's Kindergarten Graduation - she is HILARIOUS when she gets on any stage - we loved it!!
Memorial Day hike at Dual Creek with Aunt Cindy - we always learn tons of outdoor talk with cute Cind!!
Budding artists Adri and Kendalyn at their school art show...
And last, but not least, Spence and Grady going to Father and Sons' Campout - they slept in the back of the car and Grady absolutely LOVED every minute of it...

He DID it!!
He is finally potty - trained!! Will there be accidents here and there - yes, I'm almost positive about that, but I think 3 days in a row and two before that (one even being on Sunday even with church) are a VERY good sign of the end of a very annoying time in ALL of our lives!! It has been about 5 months since we started, and to his credit he has done well, with us leaving to Mexico during it and then all of this moving stuff going on - it's alot to take in. I told him if he could go 3 days staying dry, he could go pick out a new toy and he decided on a new, green tractor. He wanted an orange one (like grandpa Summerhays) but we couldn't find one, so he settled on this one! He is So proud and we are too - good job Grady boy!!!

Framing is going SO fast - we can hardly believe it! What you are looking at is the basement - pretty hard to tell what anything is unless you are us, but just use your imagination:)

Mi Casa
Our home is Centerville is buzzing right along. They started digging May 3rd and we are ready to pour tomorrow - woo hoo!! Here are some pics - they don't look like much, but it is definitely looking more like a house everyday to me.. We also met most of the neighbors last night and they are SO nice - which makes us all the more excited!!
